Save the Date: 11th EMA Forum – Bursa, Türkiye, 7–8 Oct 2026
European Metropolitan Authorities – EMA gathers 59 metropolitan areas from across Europe, totaling 122 million inhabitants. The group, founded in 2015, gathers once a year to define its priorities and convery a clear message of metropolitan areas at European scale.
This year, the EMA forum will be held on October 7-8, 2026 in Bursa, Turkey, by the Marmara Municipalities Union. The topic of the meeting will be ‘Governing the metropolitan future: policies, funding & climate-driven water risks’.
The agenda will include site visits, political meetings, plenary discussions and roundtable. In the afternoon of October 8th MICAD’s partners will showcase the project.
