
HES-SO – Haute Ecole Spécialisée De Suisse Occidentale (CH)
HES-SO is the largest university of applied sciences in Switzerland and the second largest higher education institution of the country, with more than 21.000 students and a network of schools located in 7 cantons, it is organised in 6 faculties. HES-SO undertakes research projects with a wide range of partners in Switzerland and abroad. The interdisciplinary Energy Living Lab@HES-SO team is at the forefront of applied research in urban and energy transitions focusing on advancing knowledge transfer and practical applications of Living Lab co-design methods and tools to build capacities in the energy and environmental sectors.
Role in the project
HES-SO is responsible for identifying learning and capacity-building needs and contributes to the design of the final toolkit. It coordinates the definition and implementation of a training and capacity-building programme methodology within the Operational Hubs for relaying entities and MICAD's metropolitan partners. It plays a crucial role in the replication, sustainability, and exploitation phase.
