UTA – Urban Technology Alliance Association (CH)
UTA is a member-based non-profit organisation based in Geneva, Switzerland. It is a global network of cities, industry and academia with 30+ members over 3 continents (Asia, Europe and North America). It teams up to organise city scale pilots to validate technical, economic and social angles of innovative solutions for smarter cities. It equips its stakeholders with both technical and non-technical guidelines and methodologies for effectively implementing trials.
Role in the project
UTA engages and coordinates partners in an in-depth analysis of climate and digital transition policies landscape at both EU and national levels from a metropolitan perspective. It leads the coordination of the five cities and metropolitan authorities to support collaboration and knowledge sharing, providing specific tools, tested methodologies and design thinking approaches to guide them in the elaboration of the roadmaps.
